How did the Teddy Trail go?… well I lost count when we ran out of sheets but I’d guess 160 books made their way into the hands of children! With books making it to Northern Ireland and Germany! Thank you so much to the support of the local businesses and the kind donation of books from 📖 A huge thank you to all the authors who sent goodies for the children and left videos on my page! Lots of the children told me they enjoyed watching them ❤️ This half term trail was my way of supporting the in a creative and community centred way but it was so much fun I think I might start a yearly teddy bears picnic day for the town! I hope all the children were pleased with their books and are excited to share what they are reading with family, friends or school! I had the wonderful surprise of meeting the author of Dreamland, which will soon be a major BBC drama, and her lovely family, who popped into the shop on Saturday! All the way from the States, Rosa is currently on a book tour in the UK, celebrating her new book My Only Boy. The unforgettable love story and state-of-the-nation thriller.
