Suns out, grilles off! Battle of the big guns today. Customers remit was front or downward firing floorstanders with the ability to Bi-Amp AND sound better than his current Mission 753. Enter the Aura 3 and Antal 40th Anniversary. Both dedicated 3 way speakers, one with a ribbon tweeter, one with a magnesium horn loaded tweeter. Both driven instore by the 9000p, q and CDT. Which one did the customer chose to try at home?

Had a delivery today from of a pair of Model 01 in Sage Green. First off, these handmade speakers stand from Barry, 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 and impeccably well packaged and beautifully designed. The legs slot into place easily and everything feels solid when built. The exposed 13 layer Ply looks amazing against the Sage green and adds to the contemporary look. If like a more decor friendly stand that doesn’t compromise on quality, these are the perfect solution. I will be using these stands over the next few weeks and I can’t see them going back!

Lovely pair of Quad Revela 1 in for a demo this morning. Customer has the audiolabhifi 9000q and p already and looking to upgrade his older B&W speakers.

The Revela range incorporates a 6.5” mid/bass driver with a True Ribbon tweeter. Stunning finish on our Walnut demo pair 😍😍

The customer is driving quite a distance to visit us and I have a couple of other speakers for him to audition as well.

Had a customers 30+ year old Planar 3 in for a service today. It’s spent nearly half its life in a cupboard but the customer has just got all his vinyl out of storage and wants to play it again. So, new belt, Carbon Pro and a good clean up and it’s ready to collect. Even got the hoover on the Matt! All tested and sounding sweet!

Been a bit quiet on the Socials this last week, been plenty busy behind the scenes though and my current favourite obsession is
I am very excited to break the seal on this album today. I’ve been streaming it all week, waiting for it to arrive 😍 Beautiful moody indie music full of heart and stories.

The shop is looking very sunny today! It’s lovely to get some nicer weather and start to feel like winter is behind us. Definitely playing some sunnier records this week!
New arrivals this week are the 3CDT to go with our 3 Amp, Sonik 3 to complement the Sonik 1 and 5 we have on demo, which are now bundled in with a few amp options on the website. The new Sonik range has been really well received since launch and we love the look and sound of this range. Can’t quite believe we still have an incredibly well looked after Planar 3/24 in gloss red at £450.00! It’s an amazing sound turntable for the money and comes fitted with the Exact MM cartridge and MK1 TTPSU

This rather beautiful regaresearch Planar 6 RS is being set up prior to collection tomorrow for a very lucky customer.

The first P6 RS through the door and it looks and sounds stunning 😍
