I’ve tried sand casting SO many times… and I’ve never managed to get the results I wanted! 

So this time, I went right back to basics. I carved a really simple bubble heart out of wax, gave sand casting another go… and FINALLY, it worked! 

It’s such a good reminder that sometimes you just have to strip things back, start again and keep trying.

And honestly… seeing this little heart come out of the sand in silver was VERY satisfying! And are now available on my website! 🤍

It goes without saying that my favourite part of having a jewellery business is making the jewellery!

But before I can get into the workshop, there’s always a fair bit of admin to get through… and I can’t say it’s my favourite part!

Luckily, a homemade GF cookie from my lovely boyfriend and a chai make the admin a little more enjoyable, before a busy day of making!

So excited to be heading back to Rock Oyster Festival again this year! I can’t wait to be back—it really is one of the highlights of my summer.
I’ve been busy in the workshop creating lots of new pieces to bring along, and I’ve got a big week of prep ahead to get everything ready. I’ll also be bringing my print collection kits, so if you’ve been thinking about one, now of the perfect time!
