Riftbound has been going from strength to strength here at the shop! 🔥
From a fantastic first pre rift for vendetta, filled with great pack pulls, hype and tonnes of fun! To our first ever signature card opened in store last week 👀

This fantastic game and the amazing community that continually show up to play, hang out and support the store have helped us grow so we can run bigger and better events and acquire cool promos and prize support for the future 😁

For all of our riftbounders and potential new recruits we have some exciting news.. our promos have arrived so our first ever skirmish events are ready to go! As well as plenty of nexus night packs to give out on our bi weekly nexus nights ✨

Come down and join in! Learn to play sessions can be run on demand and we have plenty of starter decks in stock for new players as well as a welcoming community that can help deck build and share knowledge to help anyone looking to give the game a try a great start 💪🏻

Good morning

A few small notices and highlights for today and the weekend.

Friday 3rd July - We will be opening slightly later then usual - 5pm to 10pm
We also have our Riftbound Nexus Night (Multiplayer Format) Still a few spaces over on the sign up left.

Saturday 4th - Usual opening hours (10am to 6pm)
Welcome to 11th Edition. A lot of chatter over on ⁠gw-40k about this one. a great opportunity to come down and get involved/meet our wonderful store community. The wonderful Matt will be hosting and has some armies for those who would like to try. Alternately come down with a small force and get to know the new rules.

Sunday 5th - Crauf Con 4 (10am to 5pm)
The hugely popular Crauf Con is back. We'll have table space available on a first come basis and there's plenty of sellers across the venue and bar to visit. Come down and support local nerdy suppliers and the Craufurd Arms.

Our allocation of Armageddon boxes are currently all claimed… but we have lots of Core Rules, Mission Decks, Narrative Decks and Combat Patrol Books still available to reserve for next weekends release.

If you pre ordered an Armageddon box we’ll hold them until the 27th (unless you let us know separately) after that we’ll put them out on the shelf.

++D&D Intro Sessions ++

We still have a couple of places left for our next D&D Intro Session this Sunday.

Ever wanted to try a TRPG but haven't known where to start?
These sessions are for you!

Friendly sessions open to new and returning players are being held every 3rd Sunday of the month. 12pm-4pm. Everything you need to play is provided including character sheets and dice.

The session is led by Jeremy, our friendly and professional, DM. With over 20 years of experience in running and playing Tabletop RPGs he brings a wealth of experience and support to all players. We've had so much good feedback from people over the last few months. We've even had one of the intro groups progress into a regular fortnightly adventuring group!

Come get involved.

We are saddened to hear that John Blanche passed away this week.

His artwork defined Grimdark and captured the imagination of so many tabletop enthusiasts. His style has had bleed into the tabletop world so much that its influence can be seen far beyond his most famous Games Workshop pieces.

This is the original rulebook that I, Dale, got gifted on Christmas, in 1998. It’s tattered and well loved. I inhaled every inch of it and read through it hundreds of times staring at the artwork and pictures for hours on end.

This is the piece of artwork captured my imagination as a 10 year old and started a journey that, almost 30 years later, leads us to TMK and my personal love and obsession with Tabletop Gaming.

That legendary 3rd edition box set started the wheels in motion. John’s insane and epic cover art was the gateway. Seeing that box in the window of Games Workshop MK for the first time blew my mind, and I cannot understate how important his works were and are in how I/we aspire aesthetically as a store.

If you’ve ever stepped foot in our space you understand.

I have collected copies of many of his works and will one day display them all in store for everyone to enjoy 🙂

We have spaces available for our twice monthly premium sessions and our next intro session.

These are premium sessions led by our professional DM with all the models and scenery provided. Jeremy's sessions have been incredibly popular in the past and we're excited to host a space for a new group of adventurers to tackle new mysteries.

Warhammer 40K Armageddon is officially official!

If you haven't already, and would like to, please let us know if you're interested in this amazing box from us. We'll be putting in our final numbers this week so want to make sure we don't order too few or too many copies. You can respond on this post or drop us a message here, or on the Discord.

Even if you don't get it from us we'd always recommend seeking out a copy with your chosen FLGS. This is a HUGE release and really makes a difference to smaller independent stores.

We've already ran a "I'm interested in" poll over on the Discord so thank you to everyone who put in on that one. We are offering a little extra off what we normally would on GW prices for the first wave of the new release as a thank you to our amazing community.

K'47 is the hugely popular weird war miniatures game from Warlord Games.
