A preview of the upcoming Prince August Great Powers of the 1900's Austrian Hungarian - German troops. This release will have four moulds (PA857 to PA860) and we should have it available Mid June 2026. I am working on the painting instructions.
I made a little video to remind people how easy it is to cast these figures. These are 54mm scale. The metal used is Model Metal, which is an alloy of Tin/Lead/Bismuth. You can use any of our alloys however.
The Solder Pot is available on our website too. The Rubber is black vulcanised rubber similar to car tyre retreading material.

In response to continued increases in global oil prices and the resulting impact on rubber-based materials, Prince August is pleased to announce a significant advancement in our manufacturing process.

After extensive research and development, we are introducing a new generation of precision-engineered steel moulds, designed to complement and eventually expand beyond our traditional vulcanised rubber range.

These new moulds will allow hobbyists to cast using higher temperature metals, including aluminium, opening up new possibilities for durability, weight, and finish.
