Grand Designs meets Grand Design

In the UK, the current House of the Year is a compact stone monolith in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. Guess what I spotted in front of their picture windows? Looks like the owners have a 1970s LP12 to entertain them whilst overlooking the stunning island backdrop in which they make their home.

Linn Akurate HIFI for sale
As Andy's downsizing his house, he's been told to downsize his personal HIFI system. As such, a prized Linn Akurate Exakt aktiv system is now looking for a new owner. The system comprises a Linn Akurate Exakt DSM (aka Akurate Systemhub), connected via Exakt link to a Katalyst DAC-enabled Linn Akurate Exaktbox-I. Eight amplifier channels are then wired to a pair of Linn Majik Isobarik speakers via 4 x 4m of Linn K400 cable. All items are in as-new condition, and Andy has been the only careful owner.
