🟩 Shepherds Whistle Pendants and Charms - NZ Greenstone or Stg Silver - which do you prefer?
A shepherd's whistle is a specialized, modulatable, variable-pitch whistle used to train and transmit commands to working dogs and other animals. Unlike other whistles, they are placed inside the mouth. The pitch is controlled by the placement of the tongue; physically, shepherd's whistles are vessel flutes with the tongue forming one side of the resonating chamber, and controlling its size. Like tin whistles, while simple, they can be used as musical instruments in their own right.

🟢 NZ Jade Bell of Piece 🟢
This piece, called “Bell of Peace”, is a hand-carved greenstone (pounamu) pendant with symbolic elements arranged to resemble a small bell.
Handcrafted in New Zealand by Jen Hung.
Jen is Taiwanese and came to NZ in 1998, attended and graduated from Tai Poutini Polytechnic's "Jade and Hard Stone Course" which led to her and her husband to open "Jens Stones Carving Studio".
Apart from Maori traditional designs, she is influenced by her Chinese background and culture as well as natural forms. All her work is lovingly plaited by herself as she just loves the colours and designs that can be created.
