This year, we are proud to partner with You're Just My Type ❤️ They’ll be providing a special mental health activity along with all the usual picnic fun.

This is an ALL AGES event open to anyone within the diabetes and chronic illness community+ your family and friends. All are welcome!

Yesterday we celebrated Enia’s birthday! She is not only my partner in life, filling all my cartridges and remembering the low snacks that I always forget, but also the other half of thechronicallyillest who keeps it all going behind the scenes. Without her, none of this would be possible, and there’s simply no one else I would want to do it with. Happy Birthday to the sweetest thing in my life (that requires no insulin). ❤️

I was 12 when I was diagnosed, was pretty independent with my diabetes management and mismanagement, and moved out at 18! So DON’T go too hard on them lol.

And a reminder to all the diabetic parents going hard for their kids, one day you might get to be in carb count retirement too 🥹❤️
