PROWLER5 - OCEAN FLUKE REPORT - VERY GOOD DAY WITH LIMITS - TUES., SEPT. 8TH

Hey gang,

The day started out with me heading to the south when I got a call from Capt. Jack who filled me in on a hot report. Locally, not that far in the ocean. It paid off big time. We have a lot of nice quality, bigger FLUKE today. Jeff was high hook with 5 [ORL] Anthony, Eagle fan has 3 real nice keepers and several keepers were in the 20 to 24 inch class today with the non-stop short action and we're still fishing. We're up around the Mid 20s on keepers for 16 customers. FLUKE. I'll post pics in a little bit.

The FLUKE fishing ends Sept. 25th. So don't miss out. Fluke fishing daily 7:30AM-2:30PM, except for MARATHON MONDAY. Free ice for your catch. Fresh spearing for bait. $5 rental rod if needed.

Just a reminder we will be doing some maintenance tomorrow, Wed., Sept. 9th and Thurs., Sept. 10th so we won't be lighting up. I'll see you Friday, Sept. 11th.

PROWLER5 - OCEAN FLUKE REPORT, SAT., SEPT. 5TH

Hey gang,

We flew out to the same location where we had some nice keepers on yesterdays trip. But, we didn't have the amount of keepers we wanted. We had FLUKE flying over the rail all day long from start to finish. However, the problem was that they were 16 - 17 inch FLUKE. It was a good day for Bobby the gravedigger. He had his limit of 3. Nevertheless, it was a drop dead beautiful day out on the ocean with a great ocean breeze and a good drift all day.

Capt. Jack, Joey, Sr. and Joey, Jr. will be your crew for Sunday and Monday's trips. I will be back for Tuesday's trip.

There are only about 20 fluke days left in the season. Hard to believe, it went super fast this year. So pick a nice day and let's go fishing!

PROWLER5 - OCEAN FLUKE REPORT, FRI., SEPT. 4TH

Hey gang,

After not being out the last 2 days, if felt great to be back out on the ocean. We flew out to the grounds and took the longer trip and it was a smart move. We had FLUKE flying over the rail literally all day. The good thing is that we landed a lot of nice quality bigger FLUKE today. Brian was high hook with 4 (ORL) and won today's pool with a beauty. Tony, regular, had his limit. Terry, fishing the bow, looked like he had the pool winner but Brian just barely beat him out. Joey, Sr. and Steven were awesome on deck again today.

The weather looks beautiful for the rest of the holiday weekend. So let's go fishing!

PROWLER5 - OCEAN FLUKE REPORT -TUE; SEPT.1ST

Hey Gang,

We flew out to the grounds where we've been fishing. The ocean was flat clam,beautiful day, not a lot of drift today. We caught tons of fluke all day long, 30 fluke a person, but we had to feather through those to get to the keepers. Mr. Kim was high hook with 4 today (ORL) Very happy for him He did good on his last trip also..So he's on a roll.

Too bad our government doesn't let us keep 2 fish at 17inch like they used to a few years back.

I'm really NOT liking the forecast for tomorrow Wednesday.

So our next trip will be FRIDAY. SEPT 4TH

PROWLER5 - MARATHON MONDAY, AUG. 31ST - OCEAN FLUKE REPORT

Hey gang,

We have 19 customers today. The day started out with tremendous action at the first location we fished. Had to leave because we were looking for more keepers in the mix. Little bit of a ride but there are some nice keepers on this other location with Benjamin back on track leading the pool with a beautiful flattie at 1:00 pm. The water color is very clean and blue today at this location. I think now that we are going to be off this moon we'll be able to catch more keepers in the mix. At least that is what we are hoping for. I'll post more pics on the way in today.

Regular Gary just took the pool away from Ben with a beautiful 25 inch flattie and he has his limit of 3 now, Gary pool fish was 5 lb 10 oz, we ended the day with a nice afternoon bite on nice big quality keepers put a little overtime in today. And we landed a bunch of big jumbo sea bass.

Awesome day I can't wait to get back out here again Monday I love these trips...

Tomorrow is going to be another beautiful day. So let's go fishing.

PROWLER5 - OCEAN FLUKE REPORT - SAT., AUG. 29TH

Hey gang,

We have a big crowd of customers today and it's another awesome day on the ocean. We steamed out to the grounds where we had our successful trip yesterday. Plenty of short FLUKE flying over the rail all day. Non-stop action so many fluke. We landed some nice quality keepers, but we can use more keepers in the mix. Different conditions than yesterday on the drift and a little bit of a lack of drift in the late morning into the afternoon. I'll post pics on the way in.

Capt. Jack will be at the helm for tomorrow, Sunday's trip with Joey Sr. and Joey Jr. for the crew.

So don't miss out. It's going to be another beautiful day.

PROWLER5 - GOOD DAY WITH LIMITS - OCEAN FLUKE REPORT - FRI., AUG. 28TH

Hey gang,

What a shame more people didn't come down to go fishing today. We sailed with a very light crowd but still took the long ride. It doesn't matter if we have a big crowd or a small one. We'll always fish as hard as we can and go to where we think the best place to fish is.

Mr. Kim was high hook with 5 (ORL) and won today's pool. Mr. Khan had his limit 3 Colin also had his limit 3. Johnny Moon just missed his with 2. All day we had FLUKE flying over the rails. It was a beautiful day on the ocean with great conditions. Looking forward to getting right back out there tomorrow. I'll be running the boat, and I'll have Joey, Sr. and Steven for the crew.

So, let's go fishing.
