It's the 1st of August, and that marks my first month as the Head Nut of the Chill Squirrel! Once I get a chance to focus on it, I'll get really wordy with ya'll about my thanks and gratitude. I'm not even going to pretend how excited I am about bringing Mythical Meats to the Chill Squirrel!

I stumbled on this brand last year and immediately became hooked. This small, family-owned and operated company produces high-quality hot sauces, beef jerkys, and exotic meat snack sticks. Inspired by Dungeons & Dragons, this line speaks to adventurers of all sorts! Bags of jerky are 3 ounces and great for sharing and the 1 ounce sticks are individually wrapped.

NEW ARRIVAL!!!

Come check out these BEAUTIFUL stained glass suncatchers by local artist Jan Garcia. The image doesn't do the colors true justice (and this isn't the only picture I took, believe me!). The columbine is three-dimensional with three silver stamens!

Happy Monday to all the chill squirrels out there wondering about the latest weirdness down at the shop. This, my friends, is a fun conversation piece! It began when a couple came in for art supplies and found this gem tucked in with craft kits. Ellen, my mother who has been helping me, was also fascinated. The package is quite obviously detailed 😂. After some discussion, we decided to open it to find... a Drake press kit. I love imports!
