Marty MacMillan has been enthusiastic about guitars his entire life. In 2004 Marty completed training at the Bryan Galloup School of Lutherie in Michigan, earning his Masters Certificate in Lutherie. Following Galloup, Marty worked for two major guitar manufactures. His experience in manufacturing further defined his skills in all aspects of guitar construction. In 2012 Marty decided to make his dream come true and set out to launch his own handcrafted line of acoustic guitars, thus MacMillan Guitars was born. Simplistic and elegant in design, MacMillan Guitars are known for a low end punch that stays crisp without getting muddy, and clear distinct mids with crystal clean highs. Each guitar is completely handcrafted in Nashville, Tennessee using the finest FSC certified woods available. In addition to building and repairing guitars, Marty has been a professional musician since 2000, playing acoustic, electric, and pedal steel guitars.
