Hey friends. Andy here.  Everyone at Wax is physically fine. Thank you for your concern. 

We are in the process of sorting out a major in-house issue. As a result we will be closed this weekend. The situation has also forced us to cancel or reschedule our next 4 shows. 

We appreciate your offers to help, and we will take you up on them once we've once again secured a safe environment for bands, visitors and staff. 

This is not a crash, it's a course correction.  Wax isn't going anywhere.

Today we mourn the passing of David Fair, founding member of Half Japanese and brother of our great friend Jad. David was a pioneer of independent/DIY music, self recording and releasing albums with his brother beginning in the 1970’s, before “indie music” was even a concept. Our thoughts are with his friends and family and all those who have been inspired by his independent spirit.
