Canton Games is your Friendly Local Game Store! We carry all manner of board games, retro video games, Magic the Gathering, Dungeons & Dragons and tons of dice!

We're always buying and selling retro video games, Magic collections, and board games! Canton Games is a great store for all things fun. We carry board games of all varieties, CCGs, RPGs and retro video games. We host regular open game days on Saturdays, Magic drafts on Friday nights, Commander on Sundays, and Dungeons and Dragons on Mondays and Thursdays. Good times are always had.

I just want to take a proud gamer dad moment here and congratulate my daughter Jodie on her first ever game of Agricola. She did astonishingly well for her first play ever, and didn't get a single negative point (I got two of them).

Kids are brilliant if you let them be. Forget what the ages say on the box, just play and have fun.

Spooky season pick of the day: SPOOKTACULAR

This is a new release this year from Level 99 Games that we're obsessed with! You're playing as horror movie villains and creatures that come out of the screen. Your goal: Scare and chase around as many theater-goers as you can. The best part: There's 20 different creatures you can play as, each has their rules directly on the player board, with varying levels of difficulty. It's easy to set up and learn, endlessly re-playable, and you can choose how much you want to use your brain each time. It's officially spooky season, and we've been stocking up on some great horror-themed games, like this fun little trio of card games:

🧛‍♂️Dracula's Fortune: Dracula didn't leave a will, and you're fighting over his fortune! Draw cards, and then split them into two piles. Your opponents have to guess which of the piles have the good stuff and then decide who gets what. You have to figure out how to make sure the best inheritance stays in front of you!

👻Antiques Ghost Show: You're all rival antique dealers fighting over a collection from an old manor, but you keep picking up treasures that are all haunted! Try to convince other collectors to take the items off your hands and bring home the least haunted collection.

🤝Dark Pact: It's a deck-builder! (A staff favorite genre.) Keep buying cards and adding cards from the grimoire to your deck. You're looking for one of the game's 13 dark pacts. When you find one, that's your win condition! Complete the pact with your deck to win the game.
