Going along with our recent posts on safety. We wanted to highlight this study that came out last season. Over the last 25 years roughly 479 people have been injured by inflatables in the United States.

Although this is a shocking number, we wanted to highlight that in the vast majority of cases those injuries were due to operation error.

Here at Akron Bounce & Party Rentals we have a no injury record. This is due to our high standards for our Bounce House and Inflatable setups. We monitor the weather closely, ensure each inflatable is anchored with more than the manufacturers recommended weight, and ensure our inflatables are rigorously inspected and licensed each year.

It saddens us to come across tragic and unnecessary events like this one. One of the most important aspects of enjoying bounce houses and other inflatable amusements is to have the peace of mind that you and, most importantly, your children are safe. Here at Akron Bounce we continually monitor weather conditions and are trained on the constraints of our inflatable amusements. This is why we send weather notices to our customers and will not allow our inflatables to be operated in unsafe wind conditions. Our crews conduct a multi-point inspection on every inflatable setup before it is cleared for your enjoyment.

Our thoughts go out to family and community. Although these tragedies are infrequent, this story exemplifies that bounce houses are meant for fun but they are also large pieces of equipment and safety must always be kept in the forefront of the mind.
