It's time to honor Miss Rumphius, Barbara Cooney, and our shop mission to "make the world more beautiful!" Before moving to Maine I hadn't heard of Miss Rumphius or seen lupines, bless my heart. After we moved here, Barbara Cooney's sweet story quickly became my favorite. In our short lives on the earth we can do many things, big, small, important, mundane, trivial, boring, exciting, meaningful, and everything in between. Among all of it, I hope to follow in Miss Rumphius's footsteps, as she did by spreading lupine seeds everywhere -to make the world more beautiful, with words and deeds, no matter how big or small. Thank you for being part of our story 💜

As summer in Maine draws near, it's exciting to think about all the kinds of traveling we might do. Whether going a long distance on a plane, skipping down to Boston on the train, taking a cruise on the river in a boat, jaunting around our lovely state on a road trip, and even escaping to the couch to take a journey through the pages of a book! Whether it be abroad, or in your own back yard, we hope you are looking forward to some relaxation and adventuring this season! Begin the journey!
