Tonight at Library Park!

IT’S BEE DAY!

The spelling showdown is happening TONIGHT, and there’s still time to join us!

Come watch our teams battle it out over increasingly difficult words, cheer on your favorites, enjoy a delicious spread from Long Reach Kitchen & Catering, grab a drink at the cash bar, enter the Bee & Honey Raffle, and maybe take home some Bee merch while you’re at it.

Tickets will be available at the door!

Fall hours start today! We are now open until 4pm on Saturdays, which gives you even more time to pick up holds, use our wifi, and hang out at your favorite library.

You’ll get an evening of friendly competition, great food from Long Reach Kitchen & Catering, a cash bar, silent auction, raffle, and plenty of reasons to cheer, all while supporting your favorite library!

Join the fun on Friday, September 18th at the Patten Free Library Spelling Bee!

The Bee is full of friendly competition, prizes, light nibbles, a cash bar, and a silent auction.

Tickets are $35 online and $40 at the door. We have a limited number of VIP tickets for $70, which include one drink ticket, reserved seating, a bee-themed gift, and an extra raffle ticket for the Bee Gift Basket.

Think you’ve still got what it takes to be a spelling champ? Love words and a little friendly competition? Gather a team of 2–5 people and compete in Patten Free Library’s Spelling Bee fundraiser. Round up your smartest friends, brush up on your spelling, and sign up today!

The fee for adult teams is $125. Three teen teams will be sponsored and the fee will be waived. The Bee is open to team members ages 14 and up. All money raised at the Spelling Bee goes directly to support the Patten Free Library.
