Bellows Falls Community Bike Project We are a full service, 501c3 nonprofit community bike center in Bellows Falls, VT.

We strive to put more bicycles on our roads while keeping salvageable bikes from the waste stream, teaching valuable repair skills.and providing affordable transportation.

On Labor Day, we had a big crew of 14 from Kroka Expeditions at the bike shop! (Twelve semester program students and two staff, and they all rode over from Alstead, NH!) After learning about the work we do in the community, they got to work, cleaning bikes, parting bikes, sorting parts and painting wooden posts. What a fantastic group - interested, thoughtful and motivated! Afterward we all rode up to the pump track for a few spins.

LISAI'S MARKET in Bellows Falls now has a Bike Rack!
Back in the spring, the Rockingham Walk Bike Committee got permission to put a (non-permanent) bike rack in the parking lot by the sign, and we finally placed it this morning.
THANK YOU Gary, Mike and the Lisai family!

BIKERS - Please use the bike rack, rather than parking your bike near the door, where it may get in the way of people entering and exiting. An added bonus is that you don't need to ride through the parking lot at all, since it's right next to the sidewalk!

Congrats to the ML Fitness team, who logged a total of 1,705 miles of cycling, hiking, walking and kayaking, and raised nearly $3000 for our Pedals to the People fundraiser challenge!
Last Friday, we presented them with a GC to Pizza Palace and a very cool trophy created by local welder Jon Hubbard! (zoom in to see the trophy)
Big thanks to Meg Letson, Abby Warren, Donna Jones, Nancy Nelson, Malachi Nelson, Sandy & Kathy Martin and Emily Bragonier for challenging yourselves and helping to continue the mission of the Bike Project!!
