What a fun day downtown yesterday! We had a very special visit from Jean Ryan who originally started Chocolates Plus back in 1984! It was wonderful to see her! We have tempering kettles that make our job a little easier and allow us to help customers and keep chocolate in a tempered state while we are busy with other things. But it is always important to practice the techniques without the help of more modern conveniences. Chocolate is a science and if you miss a step the results will show in the end product! We love the craft of chocolate making!!
