This pattern is perfect for end of summer sunshine. I found it great for my beginner/intermediate crochet skills. Lots of chaining! Completely customizable to size and length. The texture of the sequin yarn makes it very forgiving if you make a mistake here and there.

Mine crocheted with one strand Lana Grossa Cosmo held with one strand Mirasol Inka (I found a single stand of Cosmo harder to see what I was doing, but the carry along completely fixed that for me!) One ball each yarn with lots of leftover. Find them online or in store now.

It’s an EXTRA fav of mine, I think I’ve knit it six times now. Great shape. Large needle. Quick. Easy. Timeless. Doesn’t take a lot of yarn. Works well with many weights of yarn.

An extra-special yarn from A Whimsical Wood Yarn Co. has arrived!

Who has died of dysentery? 🙋‍♀️
Everyone who grew up in the late 80’s early 90’s (“elder millennials”), this one’s for us.

The Oregon Trail Collection comes to us from Ackley, Iowa, where Samantha’s incredible eye for color transforms buttery-soft DK weight merino wool into nostalgic works of art. Each colorway is inspired by the beloved classic computer game The Oregon Trail, making this collection a perfect blend of cozy craftsmanship and childhood memories.

All of these colors are dyed to be applied to assigned pooling patterns if desired. This technique uses the colors that would otherwise pool randomly, creating a cute cluster, rainbow, or flower-ish pattern. Find Samantha’s brilliant assigned pooling patterns on Ravelry.
