Berkeley Flea Market is a vibrant international market which began in the 1970s to support marginalized groups to engage & thrive in business.In 1973, Non Profit CSU won in court to officially establish the Market, Now 50+years Strong at Ashby Bart. With everything from African imports to clothes, furniture, vintage records, great food vendors and more, visitors will find that the low prices make

the Flea Market THE place to find great bargains and cool stuff. Come on down and enjoy the drum circle, the people and the unexpected. You can also rent a space and sell your own new or used items.The vendor spaces are approximately 8 ft X 21 ft deep. The fee is $35.00 per space per day To inquire about renting a space, call the Berkeley Flea Market during business hours. Thursdays office hours are 5-7p and Fridays 12-3p.

In Loving Memory of James “Spirit” Price 🕊️

The Berkeley Flea Market joins our community in acknowledging the passing of James Price, affectionately known as Spirit.

For many years, Spirit was a familiar and meaningful presence in the drum circle that gathered just outside the Berkeley Flea Market. Through his drumming, creativity, and spirit, he contributed to the rhythm, culture, and sense of community surrounding the market.

We honor his life, his music, and the memories he leaves behind. His presence will be deeply missed, but his rhythm will always remain.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family, friends, fellow musicians, and everyone whose life he touched.

Rest in peace, Spirit.
