Next up in our Meet the Team series: Jon.
A Colorado native and a cornerstone of Front Range Anglers, Jon has been part of the shop for an incredible 26 years. Over the decades, he’s seen the sport evolve, fisheries change, and countless anglers come through the doors, all while building a reputation as one of the most knowledgeable and respected members of our team.
As our Shop Manager, Jon brings a depth of experience that’s difficult to match. From trout streams and tailwaters to warmwater fisheries and everything in between, his passion for fly fishing extends far beyond any one species or technique. If it swims, there’s a good chance Jon has spent time figuring out how to catch it on a fly.
Whether you’re looking for advice on gear, flies, local waters, or a new species to chase, Jon is always willing to share what he’s learned from a lifetime spent on the water. His knowledge spans every corner of the sport, and his passion for helping others enjoy fly fishing is evident every day in the shop.
Jon is also a member of the Hatch, Winston, and Scientific Anglers Pro Teams, a reflection of the respect he’s earned throughout the industry and the fly fishing community.
More than anything, Jon is simply a great person to talk fishing with and an even better person to spend a day on the water with.
