What's on my mind? This little free flip in my friend's loft, that's what!! THIS is what elevate is all about. We didn't spend any money; in just a few hours, we elevated what she already has! We worked around the angles, reorienting the futon and rug and using bits of decor, art, albums, greens, family photos and candles that didn't already have a home. When this client had a budget for new furniture, we reimagined the space to better suit the scale of the room along with increasing seating because she frequently hosts her large family. We added 2 full reclining sofas, 2 reclining armchairs, 2 seats at the puzzle table and additional seating on the round pullout bench beneath the coffee table. The room went from only seating 6 to comfortably seating double that!! The picture she sent later was the perfect demonstration of why I e↨evate and filled my heart. 🤍

I don't do it alone! While I guide clients through the elevating process, it's definitely a partnership. I described what I thought would make a better TV stand for this space, and the client got busy sourcing this perfect piece on Marketplace. She worked hard to clean it after it spent years in a garage. I love the patina! Doesn't it add so much rich contrast and character to the space?! Tucking away her DVD collection in one drawer helped ease visual clutter, and she still has lots of storage space left in it. What a perfect addition to this project!

🧩A puzzling place!🧩 One goal for this project was to create the perfect place for the client's puzzle passion. Previously, she used the coffee table so she could enjoy time with her husband and watching TV. What I'm not:
A trained designer. With elevate, you're not going to get an educated, professional interior decorator. I won't have swatches and a 3-D presentation. Professionals and even computer-generated plans will probably have a lot more impact than I can.
