We caught up with one of the aspiring models at our casting for A Very Brooklyn Fashion Show and for him, this was more than just a casting.

It was his first time trying modeling, and something he’s dreamed about for a long time.

We asked what motivated him to finally take that first step, what modeling means to him, and what brought him through the doors.

Every runway journey starts somewhere. ✨

Designer Uliana Urusova gives us a glimpse into the inspiration behind her work and the role her Kalmyk heritage and deep Mongolian roots plays in the collection she’s bringing to the runway at A Very Brooklyn Fashion Show.

Rooted in the traditions, culture, and visual language of her heritage, Uliana’s work brings pieces of her identity into Her intentional designs. And on October 8th, you’ll get to see how heritage, culture, and creativity come together on the runway.
