We're teaming up with the folks at Asbury Hall to give away a few pairs of tickets to the upcoming RYAN DAVIS & THE ROADHOUSE BAND & ELIZABETH MOEN show on June 22nd!

Just comment here on this Instagram post and make sure you're following us - we will be drawing the winners Monday when we open at noon, and we'll reach out via Instagram DM.

Their last record, New Threats From The Soul, was a personal favorite of 2025... Instrumentally complex & charming, wordy tracks, drawing influence from lots of different stuff but sounds real unique. Their live show is a real hoot, too... sweet live arrangements. Recommend if you like bands in the style of Silver Jews, Bill Callahan, etc., or any of the more recent alt country boom stuff, but these folks in a realm of their own. Recommended gig!

Absolute behemoth of a weekend coming up...

Rare Thursday night JAZZ GIG featuring some out of town heads stopping in Buffalo. The PAT BIANCHI ORGAN TRIO kicks off at 7pm, featuring KIRK MACDONALD and BERND REITER. Bar opens at 6:30, music at 7, bring $20 for the musicians. Show the touring heads some love!

The bar opens early at 5pm for HAPPY HOUR with TRIPLE HAMMER RECORDS. Friday night we have a night of free jazz / improv / experimental with locals DGI DGI, RYAN BELL & JUSTIN VON STRASBURG, and AGONY GROTTO. Music will start around 8:30, bring 10$ for the musicians.

Another gig Saturday night! We're hosting a little benefit show for local nonprofit , a food bank / meal service for the less fortunate serving WNY. Locals ROMCOM VICTIMS, KARMA QUEEN, and HAREPIN TURN will be playing sets with doors at 8 and music at 8:30. The cover will be a $10 donation to Feedmore, and they'll also be taking non perishable food donations.

There will also be a very rare SUNDAY JAZZ GIG this weekend! Music will kick off at 4pm sharp with the JOE MAGNARELLI SUMMIT. The lineup will feature some folks from out of town, and some local heads. Gonna be a real fun one - bring $20 for the musicians and show the touring musicians some love.

Thursday night we have DJ LOVEJOY all the way from Connecticut spinnin' with shop favorite KNEW'D. They be spinning r&b, jazz, boogie, & more from 8-Midnight. Come hang, gonna be a real good time.

HAPPY HOUR Friday from 5-8pm with . Cheap drinx, and that's that. Starting at 8, DJ WHO CARES is back for the third installment of MUSIC FROM THE EASTERN BLOC. come dig the bins and hear some new sounds - always some interesting stuff. 8-midnight, no cover!

Adding a nice little batch of previously loved Blu-rays and DVDs (maybe some VHS too… 🤫) to our horror section for tonight’s big pre-show hang with .bennygraves riffing over PREVUES FROM HELL (MST3K style). Scary and messed up stuff on the tv, heavy tunes, heavy booze. Perfect way to start off the much anticipated weekend!

This weekend!

Tomorrow night starting at 8pm we will be hosting a listening session for the new BOARDS OF CANADA record, INFERNO. We will have a solid amount of copies of the record for sale on both limited red and standard black wax, and on CD. We'll be playing the new one a couple times and rounding out the night with some more BOC classics til close at midnight.

For everyone who has been asking about the listening session packs: we have had a lot of people reaching out, and unfortunately, we only got a few of them. Starting at 8pm when we start playing the record, we'll be taking a single raffle entry from everyone who shows up to hang out. When the record finishes up around 9, we will draw the winner and give away the packs to three separate people. You must be present at the shop to enter.

Bar opens early at 5pm Friday for HAPPY HOUR! Starting at 8, we're hosting a little pre party for the BUFFALO HORROR GARAGE SALE! We'll be watching some horror stuff with BENNY GRAVES and drinking beers. Some graphic stuff, so leave the kids at home! 8pm-MIDNIGHT, no cover.

Just hangin Saturday night - nothing crazy goin on event wise. The bar opens at 8pm, slinging beers and records til midnight. Fun fun fun.
