Heads up! TODAY, Saturday, May 30th, we're welcoming Solid State Logic to our Burbank Showroom to show off the many ways in which high-quality studio equipment can shape the sounds of your synthesizers.

SSL's own CJ Lewis will be on hand to show off some of their latest gear—and to discuss how the right gear can streamline your recording workflow and bring the best character out of your electronic instruments.

He will demonstrate outboard processors like the Revival 4000 and Super 9000 channel strips, as well as SSL's line of high-quality, affordable audio interfaces—an excellent first step in building out your own studio setup.

SSL1 is an ultra-portable USB-C audio interface. It can be powered via USB bus power or with an external power supply, and is compatible with both Mac and PC, as well as iOS phones and tablets for truly mobile recording set-ups.

There are two channels in total, with channel one offering an XLR mic input, along with an engageable high-pass filter, 48V phantom power for use with condenser mics, and an SSL 4K switch. This activates the Legacy 4K Analogue Enhancement circuit, adding the coloration and depth found in the legendary 4K mixing console to your recordings. Channel two provides an instrument / line input for capturing your guitar, bass, synth, or other DI recordings.

In late April, we collaborated with Los Angeles video artist + musician Alex Pelly to put together a show full of wild + wonderful live electronic artists, including:

🌌 Vast, shimmering, ambient soundscapes of Ki Oni⁠
📺️ herself with a full solo audiovisual set⁠

It was a wild evening that meandered between ambient flute textures to all-out industrial techno, all against an engrossing assortment of live visuals.
