MORE THAN JUST AN ANCHOR STRAP.
The RNR Wildcat Ring Sling wasn't developed simply to add another product to our lineup. It was born out of necessity within our own training division.
Between the different courses we teach and the countless jobsites we work on, our instructors encounter an enormous variety of rigging challenges. We needed something that offered far more versatility than a traditional anchor strap. Something that could adapt to the situation rather than forcing us to carry a different piece of equipment for every application.
That's where the Wildcat came from.
While it excels as an anchor sling, it's capabilities extend well beyond that. Depending on the application and configuration, the Wildcat can be used for:
- Basket anchors
- Choker anchors
- Drag straps
- Load-sharing anchors
- Self-equalizing anchors
- High and low-angle bridles
- Redirects
- Edge restraints
- AHD Back-ties
- Retrievable anchor systems
- Friction saver in a moving rope system
Manufactured using Marlow Gravitas rope, the Wildcat features a minimum end-to-end breaking strength of 5,400 lbf and is available in 12', 18', 24', and 30' lengths.
The philosophy behind the Wildcat is simple: We develop equipment to solve problems we encounter in the field, not just to fill space on a shelf.
