It is always a special day when we get to unpack a new book from James Crews , in this case The Sacred Everyday, Poems of Peace & Stillness, due out 10/27 from Andrews McMeel Publishing. This is a behind-the-scenes snapshot of what it looks like to receive several hundred copies of a single book, all at once. James will sign each one for the preorders we’ve received and we will ship them out around the world. I hope you each can find something of the sacred in the everyday! With gratitude for all of your preorders, thanks from all of us at Battenkill Books!

Please come by and say howdy to our scarecrow, Dolly Pumpkin. She’s our nod to the late, great Dolly Parton and her Imagination Library. During business hours, our Dolly will even be giving away free books from the box by her feet.
