Well, this wasn't originally supposed to be a shirt we sold, but here we are! 🤣

Ahhh!! SO EXCITED!! 🐾❤️🖤

I had the opportunity to make these Carlisle Wildcats Rally Towels for Carlisle High School After Prom, and they were out selling them tonight!

From the looks of it, they were a BIG HIT!! 🙌🎉

There’s nothing better than seeing something I created out in our community and knowing it’s helping support such a great cause!

💕 Hey there, friends! Let me (re)introduce myself! 💕

We've had quite a few new faces around here lately, so I figured it was time to pop in and say HELLO! 👋

I'm Jessica, the face behind Charred Threads! 🖤

A little about me...

I'm married to my husband, Dave, and together we have a pretty amazing (and sometimes chaotic 🤪) crew! We have four kids — Victoria, Kaleb, Christian, and Draidyn — plus two grandsons. Our kids are all grown and busy living their own lives, so we don't get to see everyone nearly as often as we'd like. But that's life, right? It seems like everyone is always going in a million different directions! 😂

We also have two dogs, Xander and Finnick. And let's be clear... Xander is the boss around here. 🐾😂

Family is a huge part of my life! I've also been on a guardianship journey with my aunt, which has brought its own challenges, lessons, and special moments. ❤️

If you know me, you know I'm Disney obsessed! 🏰✨ I absolutely LOVE traveling, especially cruises, and I'm pretty much always dreaming about or planning our next adventure. 🚢🌴

Now, about this little business of mine...

I've been doing this since 2014! What started as a creative outlet has grown into something I never could have imagined. From custom apparel and school spirit wear to personalized gifts and 3D-printed creations, I love getting to bring your ideas to life!

I’m not usually one to post much of my personal life on my business page, but I feel like I owe you all a little explanation for why I’ve been so quiet lately.

The last few months have been a lot.

Between being a wife, a mom, working a part-time job, running Charred Threads, and being the guardian for my aunt, life got very busy very quickly. Being her guardian turned out to be a much bigger commitment than I originally realized. Along the way, I learned about some concerning things happening where she had been living, and getting her moved somewhere safe became my top priority.

It was a long, difficult process that took a tremendous amount of my time and attention, but I’m incredibly relieved to say she is now safe, settled, and in a much better situation.

I’ve also made the decision to leave my part-time job so I can refocus my time and energy back into Charred Threads full-time.

To everyone who has been patient with me over these last few months — thank you. Truly.

And to anyone who feels like I’ve ghosted you, dropped the ball, or left you hanging, all I can do is sincerely apologize. That is NOT how I run my business, and it’s not the level of communication or service I expect from myself.

As I get things back to normal, I’m working my way through a very overwhelming pile of emails, Facebook messages, orders, and conversations. I appreciate your patience while I sort through everything.

If you have emailed or messaged me and still haven’t heard from me within the next couple of days, PLEASE message me again. Don’t feel like you’re bothering me — I would much rather you follow up than have something accidentally get buried.

I promise my head will be above water again soon, and I’m looking forward to giving Charred Threads the time and attention it deserves again.

Ok Carlisle friends. This one's for you. I was asked to create a shirt from a design someone made, so here it is. 90% of the profits will be going back to our community to support our local businesses that had to close during our water outage (I do have to make a little something for my time 😉).
