🎻 We are a little picky about rental instruments. 🤷‍♀️ Okay. Maybe more than a little. Did you know that before a Day Violins rental heads home with a student, it goes through our 30+ point Comprehensive Instrument Servicing Checklist

Why?

Because learning an instrument is challenging enough without battling slipping pegs, questionable strings, a poorly positioned bridge, or a bow that isn't ready to play.

We want the instrument to do its job so your student can do theirs: learn, practice, make some squeaky noises, get better, and eventually make some pretty incredible music. 🎶

That's why every Day Violins rental is professionally inspected, adjusted, cleaned, sized, and prepared before it leaves our shop.

We're picky so your student can just play.

We love seeing what happens when music and art cross paths. Especially when one of our own Day Violins families is behind the camera!

Scott, one of the caretakers of one of our young cellists in our Day Violins community, took this beautiful photo of a violin right here in our shop. And now? His photograph is hanging in a real photography exhibit! 📸🎉

You can see Scott’s work as part of the current exhibit at Falls Church Arts through October 4.

Yep. A student told her instructor this a few days ago. THIS is the kind of musical journey we want every music student to have. Here's five ways we've seen students like yours excel after starting at our lesson studio:

👉 Fixing the “WHY DOES THIS SOUND LIKE THAT?!” moments. - A private teacher can catch the tiny things that make a BIG difference before frustration takes over.
