Site layout, guest count, and seating style decide the tent size and placement. This 20x20 High Peak was fitted between a retaining wall and landscaping, with rounds, cocktail tables, and a serving table configured inside. Weather is the other factor. For November and December dates, sidewalls and heating are part of the plan from the start.

That’s where most outdoor hosting plans break down. The problem isn’t the food or the invites. It’s the space.

For this setup outside Charlotte, we configured a 20'x30' high peak tent directly over the paver patio. It extends the space into the lawn, keeps guests connected to the screened porch, and puts five cocktail tables under cover with the golf course view intact.

Planning a lunch for your whole team? The tent size is the easy part to guess, and the easiest part to get wrong.

For this corporate client in Charlotte, we configured a 30x60 frame tent for 100 seated guests across 13 round tables, plus serving stations, all on a paved lot with no staking. Layout, weighting, and spacing were planned around the site before install day. 📐

Planning a public event under a tent? It has to pass inspection before a single guest walks in. ✅

For a county fairgrounds event north of Charlotte, we configured four frame tents with 6,100 sq ft under cover, and built the safety layout into the setup: 8 fire extinguishers, 6 illuminated exit signs, and no-smoking signage throughout. High bay lighting, perimeter string lights, and mounted fans completed the install.

Large-format events don’t just need coverage. They need a setup planned around the site, the crowd, and the fire marshal.

Cold nights don’t cancel outdoor events. Poor planning does. 🍂

For this fall evening event in Charlotte, we configured a 20'x40' high peak tent with solid sidewalls on all sides, string lighting around the full perimeter and patio heaters. Cocktail tables, round tables and seating were set by our crew before the first guest arrived.

Enclosure, lighting and heat have to be planned together, not added the week of.

Construction site event tent near Charlotte, NC, set up on raw dirt with no venue needed.

Active jobsites come with uneven ground, equipment traffic, and no flat lawn to work with. This 40’x60’ high peak pole tent was anchored for open dirt conditions and seats 125 under full shade. It’s the second setup for this construction team, with the same configuration because it delivered the first time 🏗️
