There are lots of new goodies in the shop this week!

We are so proud to have PLOTTER in the shop! PLOTTER is a Japanese minimalist ring binder system. The binders come in 5 different sizes with tons of fun paper and accessory options. We have testers in the shop so you can help find the right size for you :)

New oracle decks from Kim Krans! Our friend Tiffin, who is leading us through the 100 day project showed us these gorgeous decks. We have regular size and pocket size.

New The Superior Labor!!! Need we say more. They just released the cutest glove leather collection. We also have some more of our collab items.

Sailor fountain pens! We are huge fans of Sailor and are thrilled to have them in the shop. We have a lot of different fun colors and will continue to stock as much as we can from them.

Pilot Prera fountain pens, these are an excellent steel nib Pilot option with really cool cursive nibs.

Kakimori - this is a Japanese brand creating beautiful inks and nibs, as well as these super cool refillable colour liners. You can put any flat fountain pen ink in the colour liners!

What’s in my bag?! The Superior Labor x Good Postage collab bag edition!

We are releasing the very last of our T.S.L x Good Postage collaboration bags this Saturday, June 20th at 10am EST.

What is this beautiful collab!?

We had the pleasure to collaborate with T.S.L and visited their workshop in Japan to see all the items being made!
(Check out our video about the trip a couple months back!)

The Superior Labor creates hand-crafted bags, leather goods, and stationery accessories in a converted 1940’s schoolhouse in the mountains close to Okayama, in a cozy place called Nap Village. The company is owned by husband and wife team, Makoto and Yoshimi, and is staffed by craftsmen and women who create each piece with careful skill and intention. Their goods are made from the finest leathers, canvas, and brass materials. Every item is hand printed, painted, embossed, cut, sewn, and finished. They work alongside three shop dogs, Grand, Porky, and Toi, who bring even more joy to their zen factory.

The Bags:

The XS Engineer Tote with a Shoulder Strap - Gorgeous light brown canvas with a dark brown painted bottom and dark brown leather. An outer leather pocket, top zip closure, and an interior pocket. This bag features an illustration showcasing the tools T.S.L uses to create their goods, our postmark (eeek!), and of course, Mr. Zippy! $350

The Petite Engineer Tote - The cutest Air Mail design, with a painted blue bottom and tan leather. An outer leather pocket and an interior pocket. The letter reads: “Dear Friend, From our small workshop in Japan to North Carolina, we send this piece to travel alongside you. May it carry memories just like a postcard.” $150

We are so excited to see these bags go out into the world! Hopefully we will do another collab soon :)

Last Saturday Cloth & Paper popped up in the shop and y’all showed up!!!

From setting up and cover the shop in flowers, to watching the line form in the morning, this was the most magical event!

Iesha and Tiffany from Cloth & Paper set up the perfect Forma bar. Everyone got to customize their own CP Petite Forma, add magnetic clips, tab bookmarks, and stamps!
Then Iesha led a journaling session while everyone set up their goodies.

I love seeing a brand inspire so many people to plan, journal, and get creative. Cloth & Paper embodies this!

Thank you Cloth & Paper for coming into Charlotte!

Good Postage x Cloth & Paper Pop Up!

Saturday, June 6th from 10am-12pm at Good Postage/FRB

We are thrilled to welcome our friends from Cloth & Paper to Charlotte!
We will have a build your own Forma bar set up at the shop, as well as other goodies to personalize your set up. After shopping and learning more about C&P we will head down to Free Range Bar to set up our new notebooks and participate in a journaling session led by Iesha!

This is a first come first serve event, comment if you’re coming!

Welcome to GP Fine Writing International!

FWI is a fountain pen company based in Taipei. Karen and I got to visit them when we were traveling. Lu and his father own the company and design all of their pens. Their Pencket Fountain Pen is so cute! It’s the perfect pocket pen, hence the name! To meet the creators behind a company is such a privilege, to see their joy and creativity makes you love the products that much more. We hope to share this with you all and bring a little bit of Taiwan to Charlotte!
 We are also carrying some of their Wagner Pen Club collab pens. These are extremely limited production pens created for the Wagner Pen Club.

For this class we are covering journaling fatigue, the common causes, and ways to overcome them.

Please bring your journal and journaling supplies to this class.

Esterbrook has 12 different nib types, wow 🤯

They offer custom nibs which is incredibly unique. This means the nib has been hand ground to a new shape!
