These 2002 Japanese e-Reader Promos were part of the Starter Triple Get Campaign, where collectors had to send in proof-of-purchase seals from Pokémon-e Starter Decks for a shot at the trio.

And seeing all three together in PSA 10 GEM MINT — with sequential cert numbers?! 😮‍💨 That’s the kind of Pokémon history that makes you stop scrolling.

Some cards are valuable.

🎮 THIS IS WHERE IT ALL STARTED. 🔴🔵

Pokémon Red & Blue weren’t just games for me — this is what started my love for TCG and collecting.

Picking a version. Trading with friends to get the Pokémon your game didn’t have. Trying to complete the Pokédex. And of course, arguing over which version was better. 😂

Crazy to think something that started with a Game Boy cartridge would eventually turn into a lifelong love for Pokémon, cards, collecting, buying, selling and the hobby as a whole.

Sometimes you’ve gotta go back to where it all began. 🥹

BECKETT… WHAT HAPPENED HERE?! 🔥

This is the kind of grading story that makes collectors nervous. 😳

According to the collector’s account, nine childhood Pokémon cards were sent to Beckett—and what came back raised some serious questions:

⚡ Zapdos reportedly ended up in a Blastoise-labeled slab
💥 Two slabs reportedly came back cracked
🚨 Six of nine cards were labeled “Altered”
📝 “Possible tampering” was given with little explanation
📦 And this was after the wait and grading fees.

Whether you grade with Beckett, PSA, TAG, CGC, AGS, or anyone else, situations like this are a reminder of just how much trust collectors put into grading companies when we send off cards that can carry serious monetary AND sentimental value.
