The time has come! 🎉

Silencer Garage is now moving forward with silencer transfers on a Form 4473 for qualifying Tennessee residents.

After consulting with a law firm that works with the FFL community, we have been advised that we have the green light to begin proceeding with these transfers.

To qualify:
• Must be a Tennessee resident
• Must have a Gun Owners of America (GOA) membership and provide proof of membership
• Must complete a Form 4473
• Must pass the required TICS background check

We are also continuing to sell and transfer silencers through the traditional ATF Form 4 process.

Our website has live inventory! You can browse and purchase your silencer online, then schedule an appointment with Silencer Garage to complete the process.

We are currently waiting on official guidance from ATF and DOJ regarding the recent ruling. Until that guidance is issued, we will continue using the standard NFA process for all suppressor, SBR, SBS, and AOW transfers.

As an NFA dealer, these items remain registered to us in the NFRTR until an approved transfer removes them from our inventory. Currently, there is no established process showing that a Form 4473 alone removes an NFA item from our NFRTR. Until ATF provides that process, we will continue with standard NFA transfers to ensure our records and inventory remain compliant. We appreciate your patience.

Big Update from Gun Works → Silencer Garage

After 12 great years running Gun Works, I officially closed the retail shop in May and moved the business home under a new name: Silencer Garage.

This wasn’t a step back—it was a refocus.

Over the years, my strongest passion and expertise has always been NFA items, especially suppressors. So instead of trying to be everything to everyone, I decided to go all-in on what I do best.

What’s different (and better):
