✨ SAME SECOND CHANCES… JUST A NEW CHAPTER! ✨

After almost 13 amazing years, Second Chances is making a BIG change. ❤️

As many of you know, our physical store has been closed for the past 18 months. After lots of thought, prayer, and probably more than a few conversations that started with “Okay… but what if we…” 😄, we’ve decided that the store will not be reopening in the way you remember it.

And surprisingly, we’re excited about what comes next!

We truly believe God has different plans for us in this season. Our children, our families, our health, and the four homeschoolers who somehow believe they need our attention EVERY DAY 😂 are where we need and want to put more of our time.

We also have some pretty amazing kiddos with wonderfully unique personalities and needs, and both of us deal with our own share of those invisible health struggles that don’t always cooperate with a store schedule.

So after nearly 13 years, we’re giving ourselves permission to do things a little differently.

But here’s the important part:

SECOND CHANCES IS NOT GOING AWAY! 🎉

Oh no. We still have THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS of treasures looking for their second chance and we plan to keep finding homes for them!

Keeping usable things out of the landfill has always been an important part of Second Chances, and that isn't changing. If you have items that need a second chance instead of a trip to the dump, just send us a DM and we'll see if we can arrange it.

For almost 13 years, you have shopped with us, donated to us, told your friends about us, laughed with us, supported us, and helped make Second Chances what it is.

After a year of ups and downs and being closed. We aren't sure what is in store for Second Chances. Many have asked if we will reopen and when. Honestly, we aren't sure. We have been discussing that for some time now.

This isn't about our customers, or the store not "making" it. This is about us, our family, our health and our time.

If we make the choice to reopen it will only be a day or two a week and not until this summer.

Keep us in your thoughts and prayers. We continue to pray that God puts a glaring sign right in front of my face. Sometimes I am difficult haha.
