Happy International Literacy Day!

Read everything you can. Reading develops your brain, critical thinking skills, and helps you learn how to analyze the world around you. It helps develop empathy and understanding for the rest of humanity, which we *all* could use a little more of. 💯

It doesn't matter what you read, just . ❤️

Learning how to read and write should be a fundamental milestone for everyone.

Yet 739 million adults and young people worldwide still lack basic literacy skills, creating barriers that can last a lifetime.

On Tuesday’s International Literacy Day and every day, UNESCO works to advance literacy and learning for all.

📚‼️MORE New books! We must be getting into fall because there are SO many new releases this week! Coming into our Labor Day long weekend, giving us a whole extra day to READ. 👀❤️

🎭A retelling of Phantom of the Opera! (I 💯 wanted to be Christine Daae when I was younger, so yep, on the TBR you go. Me singing along with the soundtrack is a ....sight to behold, that you never want to hear 😂)
