In 2019, Route 56 was just a dream — until the remodeling started at 415 W Main Street late in the year. By January, we were setting deadlines with our sights set on a March opening.
Then… life happened.
In 2020, in the middle of uncertainty, chaos, and a whole lot of what ifs, Route 56 was officially born. What began as an idea in late 2019 turned into late nights, messy worktables, big prayers, and an even bigger leap of faith.
In April 2021, we finally opened our storefront doors — unsure of what was ahead, but certain of one thing: this community.
Now here we are.

Route 56 has become more than a shop. It’s a place where local pride lives, custom ideas come to life, and friendships are built — one order, one conversation, one drop at a time. None of this happens without YOU — our customers, supporters, cheerleaders, and friends who have chosen to shop small, shop local, and believe in us since day one.
As we step into a new year, we’re doing it with full hearts, big plans, and so much gratitude. Thank you for being part of our story — the past six years and all the ones still ahead.
