Just back from our tech is this 1964 Vox AC30 Super Twin Smooth ‘Westrex Chassis’ Amplifier

This is one of the first Super Twin's with their own serial number series, starting at 2500 in 1964. I purchased this beautiful thing from Barry Nichol, a guitar tech who's worked with various different bands over the years, and picked out some of the greatest gear to keep in his collection. This is one of the legendary 'Westrex' assembled chassis', with 3x original transformers inside, and even the original egg footswitch. This is an early one with the smooth tolex, and the single handle in the middle. What is more is that awesome aftermarket top boost addition to the rear, added sometimes in the 1980s by the look of it, and the valves are all later replacements of a similar era. We've had it recently serviced to a very good standard, and it's ready to go. This is definitely one heck of an amplifier, that is a brilliant example at that! You’ll not be disappointed.

This wonderful 1950s Gibson amplifier is a thing of beauty, just in from the long term owner. It’s had a changed mains transformer to make it suitable for UK voltage. Nice ‘54 dated Gibson speaker inside. A lovely amplifier!

Vintage 1987 Fender USA Black Maple Standard Stratocaster Guitar w/ OHSC *1980s*

We found this wonderful guitar in an auction not too long ago, tucked away in its original hard case - couldn't refuse! It's a super clean and tidy 1987 Fender Stratocaster, made in the USA. It's an E4 serial, which means anywhere between 1984 and 1987, but the neck and body date dates to 1987. It's recently been cleaned and setup by my tech, so is ready to go. Comes with the original hard case that has a few bumps and scrapes, and a buckle that is loose to the rear. Otherwise good - grab a bargain at $1100!
