Hiya Pearls! I'm going to be alone at the store tomorrow, 9/30. If you were planning on dropping off, I'd appreciate you waiting til Thursday. But if you do come, I won't turn you away! We're already running a little behind and I need to work on catching up to make room for more intake. If you are only able to come tomorrow, please come! It all works our right in the end! Just might take a tad longer!

My back yard border is made up of 12' limelight hydrangeas stretching all across the width of my yard. I planted these years ago and have really enjoyed watching them thrive. The rains this fall have turned them all rusty early skipping their pink stage and I've felt a little cheated. But this one brought a smile to my face and a little tear to my eye with its message.

Like me, it's a late bloomer and a reminder that we can shine even in challenging conditions. It's never too late!

Our Dolly Day was great! Jenny and Barb both have been long time enthusiastic Dolly fans and were so happy to join us. Jenny even wore her 9-5 hair! She had her Dolly t-shirt on with her cowgirl boots. She said she even had her Dolly perfume on! True dedication! Barb provided us with the Dolly quote about working vs making a life we posted several weeks ago. Her picture doesn't show the sparkle in her blouse but it was definitely there! Barb was there along with her friend, Sally, who had her glam jewelry on and made a significant contribution to the Imagination Library in honor of Sally's birthday-and even gave Sally all her resulting Pearl Punches! These ladies also made personal contributions to support Dolly''s dream. They really made my day! Thank you to everyone who contributed to Imagination Library!

I think we'll do this again next year and then we'll have time to put a little more planning into it. But meanwhile...
We'll be glad to see you in your best glam any day to keep the celebration of this woman's wonderful life going! And we'll keep the Imagination Library contributions open for another week before we send it in.
