Courageous Books

Courageous Books Courageous Books strives to make the world a better place through connection, caring, and our shared love of reading. Located in downtown Dexter, MI.

Jen Stevenson, founder of Courageous Books, is a Michigan native who is growing roots with her family in Dexter. A lifelong lover of stories, Jen has sought to better understand the world through reading, writing, and travel. She believes that lives can be made better by connecting with people through real and meaningful conversations, and that lives can be changed by what we find in books. The dream of opening a bookstore has been marinating in her mind for years, and now she is finally bringing it into being. Courageous Books is coming to Dexter!

“If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them.” ~Henry David Thoureau
