✨ Meet Daniela Acevedo, founder of Bountiful Candles Co. in Titusville, Florida

Bountiful Candles Co. is a woman-owned fragrance brand creating hand-poured soy candles and wax melts, room sprays, and car diffusers, but for Daniela, fragrance is also a way to help people celebrate, connect, and tell their own stories. 🕯️✨

Bountiful began in 2020, when Daniela was navigating two enormous changes at once: becoming a new mom and suddenly finding herself isolated from in-person community during the pandemic.
“Creating candles was a way for me to show up for myself and continue to come home to me.”
Then, at the end of 2021, another turning point arrived. Following her divorce, Daniela had a decision to make: return to a traditional 9-to-5 or take a chance on turning Bountiful into something more.
She chose Bountiful… and hasn’t looked back. ❤️

Today, Daniela has grown the business well beyond her own product line. She partners with businesses to create custom employee and client gifts, develops personalized scent branding, creates favors for weddings, baby showers, retreats, and other celebrations, and brings people together through private candle-making workshops and events.

✨ Meet Danielle Goodwin, founder and sole maker behind Amber & Oak on Long Island, New York.

From her basement studio on the East End, Danielle blends, pours, labels, packs, and ships every Amber & Oak candle herself. Her small-batch soy candles are rooted in scent artistry, fragrances designed not just to smell beautiful, but to transport you to another time and place. 🕯️🍂

Danielle started Amber & Oak in 2020 after searching for candles that wouldn’t give her headaches. When she couldn’t find exactly what she wanted, she began making her own with cleaner ingredients and high-quality fragrance oils.
What started as a hobby quickly became something much bigger. With encouragement from her mom and grandma (her biggest cheerleaders) Danielle turned a creative outlet into meaningful work and a business that felt true to her.

“Every product that I create starts with a feeling, a memory, or a scene I want someone to experience.”

Inspired by nature, changing seasons, childhood memories, literature, and the poetry of Robert Frost, Danielle approaches fragrance as storytelling. CandleScience favorites like Cinnamon Chai, Saffron Cedarwood, Toasted Pumpkin Spice, and Redwoods & Moss have become the foundation for some of Amber & Oak’s bestselling scents.
Next, Danielle is preparing her Autumn Memories collection, filled with nostalgic fall-inspired candles in amber jars, mason jars, and heirloom pumpkin jars. 🍁 She’s also developing her first fine fragrance perfume collection and sharing the behind-the-scenes reality of building a one-woman business on YouTube.
