Laying fabric is my least favorite thing to do in the patch, but we got it done yesterday!

SIDE NOTE‼️ If you zoom in, my least paid employee (Murr) is watching traffic go by. We are now the detour route to Marion since SR 95 is closed for 60 days. PLEASE SLOW DOWN! Co Rd 27 is now a racetrack. Farmers are still planting, every possible farmer is going to mow hay and wheat harvest is only a month out. There is also a one lane bridge just up the road. YOU ARE GOING to meet a tractor, grain semi, sprayer or combine at some point. Pull into the nearest driveway and let them get through. Be safe and careful my friends! PLEASE!!!!!!

It’s never a dull day in the mum patch! Murr has been helping me punch water lines this week. Well, he might chase the tape measure more than anything. 😂

Mum patch renovations are progressing! I had extra hands show up today just when I needed them. I’m thankful for everyone thats making patch renovations a little easier this year!

It’s been a busy Memorial Day weekend! 🇺🇸
We have worked on mum patch renovations in between the raindrops and Mike and I spaced out header lines today (which I failed at getting any pictures of). Murr has continued to supervise and cheer us on (and sometimes nap).
I’m excited for mum season!

Mum season OFFICIALLY began over the last few days! The wind has not been good to the fence this spring. 😞 While it wasn’t in this seasons plans, we decided to tear out the fence in prep for a new one. I am excited for a new fence, but I am also praying for much calmer winds in the months ahead.
