Seacoast Artist Association The Seacoast Artist Association is a community-active group of artists and people interested in art, based in the seacoast area of NH.

Working to promote art appreciation and services, the association encourages artists of all ages and media. Seacoast Artist Association is a non-profit group dedicated to inspiring and educating people in the arts. Scholarships are given annually to area high school seniors further pursuing their education in the arts.

NEW WORKS ON THE WALL! Yes, new wall changeover on view September 9 at the 130 Water Street gallery .

Michael Saunders’ three works for this quarter are ‘Where Light Remains’, ‘End of Day Light’, and ‘The Marsh Opens’. All three works are painted in oil. “My work tries to depict quiet and reflective moments away from the daily chaos that surrounds us.”

Coming in September to SAA! Artist and photographer Ed Moran presents “Saltwater Stories,” a photography exhibition capturing the surfing scene along the Northeast seacoast.

The exhibition opens Wednesday, September 9.

UPCOMING Second Sunday September 13th from 2:00 - 3:30 at SAA!

Rose Bryant: Unexpected Color: underpainting to create visual excitement.

Be ready for some color exploration as Rose Bryant paints at SAA. Rose plans to bring 3 canvases with different underpinnings. The purpose is to explore how different colors "work" on different backgrounds. Rose will loosely sketch a rough and abstracted image adding different colors to the canvases for an abstract color experiment. So, on Sunday, September 13, 2:00-3:30, come explore and enjoy a bit of color!

Alien Encounters- A Group Exhibit - Opens Wednesday 9/2/2026

In celebration of Exeter’s UFO Festival, this debut otherworldly show by gallery artists Ann Brown, Dave Turbide, Carol Poitras, Denise Brown, Laura King and David Blomquist is not to be missed! Included are watercolors, digital photography, oils and acrylic paintings.
