We are taking the fudge and goodies on the road to the Pack Burro Race on October 10th in Naturita!!

Wait?! Where the heck is Naturita and WHY?
Well, Naturita is a fun little town out in the west end of Montrose County and the area is one of our personal favorite areas to visit so we decided to support their awesome little community and, well, the pack burro teams of course! Nucla-Naturita Area Chamber Of Commerce

We will have a vendor booth set up and practicing our "on the road" skills so we can participate in events supporting burro racing all over Colorado next year! Blame it on Team Poppie ... they've gotten us hooked on the races!

That means we will be closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday Oct 9-11. So if you need your fudge fix, come grab some today through Monday! And if you happen to be THAT far away from home that Saturday the 10th, stop and say Hi!

WOW, Fairplay—you guys showed up hungry!

We sold almost 90 pounds of fudge at the Fairplay Fall Festival! And we loved hearing, “Look, it’s Two Burros!” and “Hey, it’s the fudge shop on Main Street!” all day long. Knowing that you recognize us, seek us out, and continue to support our little shop means more than we can possibly say.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by our booth, bought fudge, hot sauce, nuts and goodies, shared a laugh, or simply said hello. And extra thanks to Kendra, our absolute ace, for helping make the day run so smoothly!

We’re incredibly grateful to be part of this community. You made our Fall Festival a tremendous success—and apparently, Fairplay runs on SOUTH PARKS FAVORITE FUDGE! 🤎🫏

Come join us at the Fairplay Fall Festival!

We will have bunches of fudge including some fall flavors like Caramel Apple, Pun'kin Spice, Dark Chocolate Raspberry and Snickerdoodle!

AND Butterbeer was such a hit...You guys ate that faster than Ron Weasley at a Hogwarts banquet! So we made another batch in case anyone missed it!

Of course we will have the regulars like Sea Salt Caramel and Chocolate Walnut and will also have our nuts, crackers, soaps and candles too!

We will be closed at the store front, but we'll be just a block away so come see us by the Old Courthouse on Main Street tomorrow from 10-5!!

ITS BACK TO HOGWARTS!

In honor of school starting we thought it would be fun to try a Butterbeer fudge and oh boy this one turned out so nice and butterbeer-y! So thank you Steve for suggesting it! So come in and get a sample!

Also, this is the last batch of orange cream for the year so if its your favorite, stop in and grab some! And remember, fudge freezes so ask me how to make it last longer!

Whoohoo! Cooler weather is just around the corner so we're starting to add in our FALL flavors! We've already made some maple nut and oreo mint to start off the season and will be making some apple and some cinnamon types soon!

And as always, we have our usual classics like sea salt caramel, peanut butter cup and classic chocolate walnut, so stop in or drop us a comment if you have a flavor you want us to make!!

IT'S HERE! IT'S HERE!!

Supporting local is so important to us so we're excited to show off our newest "donkey addition" of our Two Burros quilt panel by Katie's Fabric Arts! We think it looks amazing and it's on display right in the shop next to our "Donkey Adoption Center" where we have a bunch of cute donkey stuffies and stick Burros waiting for their perfect homes! We also have other items of Katie's so stop in and see what she has or ask about your own donkey quilt.

YOU NEED S'MORE GOODNESS IN YOUR LIFE!

OK, I may or may not have made a good decision on s'mores kits for OUTDOOR usage this summer BUT if you think out of the box (haha) these are AMAZING if you pop them in a tray in the air fryer or one of those little casserole dishes in the oven! They are beyond your average s'mores, the graham cracker is melty in your mouth, the marshmallows are sooooo gooey soft and the chocolate is high end! There's regular, berry or the peanut butter version!

ANYWAY... They are approaching "middle age" status (not quite a young as they once were, but definitely not over the hill) Sooooooo... they are 25% off!! Save me from eating them all myself and stop in and grab a kit!

Hi! Now that we are settled in to the new spot, we just thought we'd share a little about us....

We're Dave and Cindi, the owners of Two Burros Trading Co. in Fairplay, Colorado. Our shop is named after our two donkeys, Mango and Jasper, who inspired the name of our business.

We created Two Burros Trading Co. to share the things we love—our fresh-made fudge and roasted nuts, hot sauces, unique gifts, local history, and the small-town charm that makes South Park such a special place.

Two Burros is housed in a historic cabin that was originally built in the 1870s as a mining cabin in the now-ghost town of Horseshoe, Colorado. In the 1930s, the cabin was moved to Main Street in Fairplay, where it still stands today. For over 50 years, it was home to a family that raised more than eight children and generations of grandchildren. We feel incredibly fortunate to be part of its story and to help preserve a small piece of Park County history.

Whether you're stopping in for a sweet treat, a local gift, or just to say hello, we hope your visit feels a little like catching up with old friends.

We also believe strongly in supporting fellow local businesses, artists, and organizations who help make our community thrive. We'd like to give a special thanks to Kyndel White of Kyndel White Photography for beautifully capturing the cozy, nostalgic spirit of our shop.
