Hi! Now that we are settled in to the new spot, we just thought we'd share a little about us....
We're Dave and Cindi, the owners of Two Burros Trading Co. in Fairplay, Colorado. Our shop is named after our two donkeys, Mango and Jasper, who inspired the name of our business.
We created Two Burros Trading Co. to share the things we love—our fresh-made fudge and roasted nuts, hot sauces, unique gifts, local history, and the small-town charm that makes South Park such a special place.
Two Burros is housed in a historic cabin that was originally built in the 1870s as a mining cabin in the now-ghost town of Horseshoe, Colorado. In the 1930s, the cabin was moved to Main Street in Fairplay, where it still stands today. For over 50 years, it was home to a family that raised more than eight children and generations of grandchildren. We feel incredibly fortunate to be part of its story and to help preserve a small piece of Park County history.
Whether you're stopping in for a sweet treat, a local gift, or just to say hello, we hope your visit feels a little like catching up with old friends.
We also believe strongly in supporting fellow local businesses, artists, and organizations who help make our community thrive.
