Labor Day weekend begins and we hope you and yours have a great time!

It’s also the start of “fall” and we have so many events coming your way at Paradox Comics-N-Cards. There’s going to be more variety than ever featuring more great games, comics, and pop culture than ever before at 814 Main Avenue! Like this one:

It’s the early sneak peek at one of the most anticipated trading card games of 2026. For more than 40 years, fans have played Cyberpunk as a role playing game or a video game but never before as a card game. Now it’s your chance to try it out EARLY!

We’ll have Beta Cyberpunk product on sale starting Thursday, September 10th @ 10AM and it all leads up to your first chance to play on Sunday the 13th! Full details at this link.

Join us at Paradox Comics-n-Cards and experience the new Cyberpunk TCG! Beta Events are in-store tournaments that anybody can show up to, build a deck, and experience the game for the first time.

Riddle me this, True Believers: When does the clock strike Midnight on October 7th?

We’re planning an incredible day of horror to celebrate Marvel’s new universe! That’s right, this is not the Marvel you’ve known. It’s not part of the 616 comics universe. It’s not related to any of their horror books you already love. Midnight is a brand new, stand alone world where the most iconic characters in all of pop culture are reimagined through a horrific lens. And nothing is what you think it is.

Did you miss Absolute Batman #1? Ultimate Spider-Man #1? Or so many other releases throughout the years? Mark your calendars for this one. Funny story!
Way back in 2000 or 2001 along came Free Comic Book Day, which remains the #1 event in all of comics.
But then the record industry said: Hey, that’s cool, wish we had a cool day and along came Record Store Day.
So here we are and comics retailers looked at Record Store Day and said: Hey, that’s cool, wish we had a day like that. :) :)

So here it comes. LCSD has actually been around for a while, but this is the 2nd year in its new home and it’s continuing to get a huge facelift. We at Paradox Comics-N-Cards have big plans to add this to our awesome lineup of events and this year is by far our biggest one yet! Here’s what’s coming:

*EXCLUSIVE EARLY RELEASE: Dungeon Crawler Carl Vol 2 graphic novel!
10 days before anywhere else! This alone makes an incredible headliner!!!!!
*EXCLUSIVE COMICS, GRAPHIC NOVELS, & VARIANTS!

the highlight of this is we will have our convention stock along with new collections hitting the floor all day. This is a great chance to get your hands on books not out for sale normally including for the first time.

Back to NDSU last night for the block party!
Absolutely perfect evening meeting hundreds of students in an incredible night. Glorious weather, great to see all the excited students, and so thankful to NDSU for the opportunity to be a Bison Level sponsor.
I don’t think Paradox Comics-N-Cards is done on campus yet this year! Meantime visit us 7 days a week at 814 Main Avenue for the best analog entertainment around.
