🥁 There's SO much great family music to look forward to at Q***r Kids Fest on 10/3 at the Northampton Center for the Arts:

🎸 The Grumpytime Club Band, featuring Carrie Ferguson Music, will play their devilishly catchy folk-pop tunes.

🎵 Mx. Lindz Amer will sing and read as part of their Q***r Kid Stuff, Live! performance.

🌈 The Rhythm and Radiance Kids Chorus and Q***r Joy Chorus, both projects of Q***r Joy Collaborative, will sing their hearts out!

🎤 Youth ages 6 to 18 are invited to sign up for 5-minute open mic performance slots of songs, music, comedy, & more!

Baby group and storytime can get *pretty* silly around here. Come see tor yourself at 9am before the store opens on Fri and Sat at Oh Baby!, then stick around at 10am for singing and stories. Stay and play as long as you like!

✂️🪡🖍 Do you need an early evening of mindless crafting and enthusiastic yapping? Come craft with our bookseller Corrie!

On the last Friday of each month from 6-7:30pm, join our activist-author-artist-pal Corrie Locke-Hardy—of The Tiny Activist!—for sweet crafts that they’ve thought through and prepped for you. You just need to show up and dissociate with a hot glue gun!

See you Sept 25, Oct 30, & Nov 27. $10/crafter. Ages 12-adult welcome, and you’ll be home, having socialized and made something with your hands, by 8pm. Whee!

Last call for Manga Club on Fridays!

Your manga-obsessed kid just found their people. 🎨🍡
Manga + Munchies is an 11-session afterschool club at High Five Books where kids explore age-appropriate Japanese comics and graphic novels, learning about visual storytelling, manga art styles, and Japanese culture. All while snacking on international treats from around the world every single session.
Created and taught by a certified teacher. Small group. Big joy. The most delicious Friday afternoon of the week. 💛
Fridays 4:00–5:30 PM | High Five Books | Ages 8–11 (12+ as CITs) | $275 for 11 weeks
