Come by our booth on Sunday July 12th from 10:30am-6pm at Kapi’olani Park to try them out. It is finally festival week: the 2026 International Ukulele Festival of Hawaii! This Sunday, July 12th we will be at Kapi’olani Park from 10:30am - 6pm. Come stop by and say hi and see what we instruments and accessories we are bringing! Sundays project was an Olds Studio. The customer wanted to maintain as much of the patina as possible. We took out some gnarly bell dents caused by the hand slide receiver hitting the bell in the case. We also re-aligned, re-rounded, and lapped the main tuning slide which had become flared at the ends of all the tubes from rocking it up and down to get it out. The re-alignment should help limit the chances of the damage repeating itself.

We are getting ready for the 2026 International Ukulele Festival of Hawaii! Here is a throw back to Zion (co-owner) and a recording he did at The Ukulele Site last year while we were in Hawaii. Andrew, Corey, and Kalei are truly some of the best people in the world and they were so gracious and also helpful with our first visit as a team to Hawaii. Thank you for taking the time to perform this piece with Zion and thank you Andrew for filming and editing this video.

Happy 4th of July! We are taking the day to celebrate, but before that we took a little time to test out some ukulele display options for this year’s International Ukulele Festival of Hawaii. More to come as we prepare all week!

Today a trumpet and French horn made their way across the brass tech’s bench. Both are now clean and moving parts now move smoothly. We always strive to clean and remove corrosion and build up but preserve as much metal as possible. More to come as the summer rolls on.
