🌿 Saturday: We’ll be open during the Center Street Market in the Historic District of Downtown Germantown from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM. The market will fill the street right outside our front door, making it the perfect morning to shop local, explore downtown, and discover something special.

We wanted to let everyone know that Hedy & Company will be closed on Saturday, July 18.

Closing on a Saturday is never an easy decision. For a small business, weekends are incredibly important, and every sale helps support not only our shop but also the many talented local artists, makers, and small businesses whose work fills our shelves. Your support truly makes a difference, and we don’t take that for granted.

If you were planning to visit, we’d love to offer another option! We are happy to schedule private shopping appointments or private workshop experiences at a time that works for you. Father’s Day always brings a mix of emotions for me. I think about my dad, who has been gone for 13 years now, and how much I still miss him. Some days the memories make me smile, and other days they ache a little more deeply.

Today, I’m also thinking about everyone else missing their dads — whether it’s the first Father’s Day without them or the thirteenth. Grief doesn’t follow a timeline, and love never really leaves us.

To all the dads being celebrated today, and to all the people carrying memories instead of hugs, you are in my thoughts. ❤️
