I spent the past week at Haystack Mountain School of Craft in Deer Isle, Maine. It was absolutely magical! The scenery, architecture, and learning were spectacular!

My favorite part were the people. Everyone ate with different people at every meal (and the food was amazing). I met artists from all over the country in eight different mediums - ceramics, metalsmithing/enameling, painting with egg tempera, woodworking, fiber wool felting, glass blowing, fabrication, and writing. Everyone was so friendly and considerate. We all got along so well. I was sad that it was over.

I can’t wait to try out what I learned in the studio!
