ArborFreak, Velocity, and Mercury are all Samson climbing lines, but they’re built differently.

ArborFreak is a 12 mm, 16-strand line. Velocity moves to an 11 mm, 24-strand construction. Mercury is also 11 mm, but uses a kernmantle construction and is built around SRT use with mechanical devices.

Diameter and construction affect how a rope fits into a climbing system. Take a look through the graphics for a closer comparison of these three Samson lines.
