Remember back in March when everyone was talking about another candy store coming to town?

The announcements, the influencer posts, all the excitement about what was coming.

And then came the question I kept hearing from people walking into Candy Connection.

“So, what are YOU going to do?”

Ummm… nothing? 😂

What was I supposed to do? Stop selling candy? Change my business? Panic?

Here’s the thing. I didn’t open Candy Connection to compete with anyone. I opened it because I wanted to create something of my own.

We’ve got Swedish and European candy, nostalgic favorites, imported chocolates, gifts, toys, accessories, and honestly, a little bit of everything. And I’m always finding something new to bring in.

But there’s more to this store than what’s on the shelves.

I know your kids’ names. I remember what candy they like. I know who’s saving up their allowance for something special and who’s just stopping in to say hi.

That’s the stuff I love about having this store. It’s not just about selling candy. It’s about the people who walk through the door and the experience they have when they’re here.

So here we are in October, and guess what?

I’m still doing exactly what I said I was going to do back in March.
Well, except maybe adding another hundred things to the store. 😂🍬

I did a thing!!!🍬

Earlier this year, I decided to file for a trademark for Candy Connection and handle the process on my own.

Fast forward 8 months, and here we are!

CANDY CONNECTION® IS OFFICIALLY A REGISTERED TRADEMARK!

And I have to say, I’m pretty freaking proud of myself for this one. ❤️
